Ciao ciao, Buongiorno! I'm Littorio. Did you know that there are multiple police agencies in the Italian Republic? In addition to the police responsible for maintaing security, there are also Forest Police and Financial Police. They all belong to different government agencies. Today I would like to introduce you to the Italian police officers you see in the city.

Carabinieri, Gendarmerie. Also known as the military police. It's one of the military organizations of the Defence Ministry, alongside Army, Navi and Air Force. You have to admit that my uniform is quite cool. Winter cloaks are often seen on the streets during demonstrations, festivals and special events. During hot days, you can see me enjoying a gelato on the roadside. I carry a Beretta M92 pistol as standard weapon. Since I belong to the army, I can count also on heavy equipment.

Local police, municipal police. Police organization managed by each local government. My uniform is different for each region. We handle light work as cracking down on minor crimes and traffic control. We're something between a proper police and a security service. You can see me wander around in the morning markets in the city squares, or crack down on illegal parking. I'm a quite usual sight in each city. I surely love to eat gelato on sunny days. I carry a Beretta M92 as standard pistol.
