Ah, Your Majesty!

Ah, Your Majesty!

Ah, Your Majesty!

It's alright, stay as you are.

...How is Zahhak?

...I see

For the sake of Your Majesty and the country, we are always...

Galleon

...It is good that you survived, Galleon.

What are you saying? We are the shield and the sword of Falena.

Regardless if you are shields or swords, before all that you are human. ...that is what I think.

Regardless if you are shields or swords, before all that you are human. ...that is what I think.

...understood...!

...understood...!

Good work. You should take a rest too.

...So you are Kyle?

Yes!

Yes!

...Oh?

So, we're the only people left...

So, he's here?

Yes sir! He's currently under a medical treatment!

Yes sir! He's currently under a medical treatment!

According to the doctor, he has passed the critical condition...it seems.

According to the doctor, he has passed the critical condition...it seems.

Being made to wander around between life and death, ...what a sorrowful deed I have done.

Being made to wander around between life and death, ...what a sorrowful deed I have done.

You look quite different when I saw you on the battlefield but... You're so young, how old are you?

Sixteen, sir!

Uh...umm...

Uh...umm...

Why did you join the militia?

Uh..., no, I...um. H-how should I put it...

Uh..., no, I...um. H-how should I put it...

...Um......

You don't have to force yourself, just speak your mind.

Eh...?

...Is that alright?

I just thought... that Ferid-sama is so great.

...Why is that?

Good! I'll be counting on you, Kyle!

Good morning Prince! Lyon-chan!

Ah, good morning, Kyle-sama!

Because you single-handedly took the hand of Her Majesty after all.

So, I just thought that's so nice and awesome.

So, I just thought that's so nice and awesome.

I wouldn't say so if it wasn't alright, would I?

GAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

D...don't tell me, did you risk your life just because of that!?

Eeh!? I was thinking I have to do at least that much...

Eeh!? I was thinking I have to do at least that much...

So, what are you trying to do then? I'm afraid I don't have any intention to hand over Ar to you, you see? "Ar" as in Arshtat the queen

That's where Sialeeds-sama enters the scene!

If I have to choose, I would join Sialeeds-sama's faction any day!

If I have to choose, I would join Sialeeds-sama's faction any day!

...I see.

...I see.

...What an honest fellow.

I have certainly heard your thought!

I have certainly heard your thought!

Be on standby for further orders!

........Eh?

Come, Freyjadour! Originally "Faruushu", dunno how to romanize that, so I just went with "Freyjadour". And I don't even know how to pronounce "Freyjadour"

I'll be intruding, Ani-ue~

What's wrong, Sialeeds?

That's truly reassuring.

That's truly reassuring.

Ferid-samaaa~, may I ask for a little of your time ~?

Miakis-dono, you are...

It's quite alright, Zahhak.

Did something happen?

Did something happen?

It's... Lyon-chan again...

...I see.

...I see.

...I see.

Right now..., Kyle-dono is looking after her...

How did this happen?

Well, I heard there are new people who got accepted into the Queen's Knight so...

Although she's already in an engagement, it doesn't mean there's no chance, right?

Even if it turns out that there's no chance, it'd still be a bliss to work close to her.

Hmm... that's right, I'd want to be right beside her, wouldn't I? I'd get punished if I cause some trouble...I might regret that...

Hmmmmm

As I mentioned before, countless soldiers and knights have fallen due to the Armes' invasion.

...Well, to put it simply, we're just short on hands.

Yes sir!

I know this will be hard on you, but we don't have the luxury to train you as apprentices. In addition to that, I'd also like you to start effective today and get accustomed to your duties under Galleon and Zahhak, as the Queen's Knight.

I would never become a weakling like my father!

I assure you, Your Majesty!

Ohhh! You two came here too!

I was kind of worried to disturb you during your duty.

I was kind of worried to disturb you during your duty.

Yes sir!

Yes sir!

...Yes sir.

Excuse us!

Kyle, Miakis, reporting in!

Kyle, Miakis, reporting in!

I'm sorry for calling you at this late hour. ...The kids were still awake until just now.

Waaah! Lym-sama is here too!

Wai... Miakis-dono!

So cuuute...! I can't believe I can actually see their sleeping face...

...Miakis, do you like kids?

Yes! I love them!

Yes! I love them!

And these two are so very cute! They're just like angels...

Hmm, they really are cute. I'm sure the princess will become a real beauty.

Hmm, they really are cute. I'm sure the princess will become a real beauty.

Geez! Is that all you can think about, Kyle-dono!?

Please listen to this, Ferid-sama~! This Kyle-dono here, all he does is looking at women! All the time!

Eeeh? It's fine if I just look at them, right?

Eeeh? It's fine if I just look at them, right?

Eeeh? It's fine if I just look at them, right?

ONLY looking? When you tried to flirt even with me...?

ONLY looking? When you tried to flirt even with me...?

Because~~ flirting is a proper courtesy towards women, right?

Hahahaha! You two get along so well, aren't you!? That's good! Getting along is good!

Hahahaha! You two get along so well, aren't you!? That's good! Getting along is good!

Hahahaha! You two get along so well, aren't you!? That's good! Getting along is good!

And why is that?

Would you like to try to become their escort?

Buuuu

Buuuu

EH...mmphh!

EH...mmphh!

Hey, you're going to wake them up.

Hey, you're going to wake them up.

Yes sir!

I-is Your Majesty... really alright with us...?

You two are close in age with the kids, which is why I would like you to be with them.

You two are close in age with the kids, which is why I would like you to be with them.

Of course, there's the duty of being their escort, but...

At the same time..., as their brother and sister...

At the same time..., as their brother and sister...

I'd like you two to be with them as a family, that is what I'm thinking.

Can I entrust them to you?

Can I entrust them to you?

But there's Ane-ue who sent us to give our regards to the new knights who would be protecting us, you see?

That's quite true. ...These children are the ones who will shoulder the future of Falena.

That's quite true. ...These children are the ones who will shoulder the future of Falena.

I'll be counting on you guys.

I wish to give these children many experiences and the strength called bond. I have great hopes in you two to teach these children as a family.

I wish to give these children many experiences and the strength called bond. I have great hopes in you two to teach these children as a family.

As you two have just been appointed as the Queen's Knights, I know there are a lot of things you need to learn, but...

W-we were just... We were just talking about how we wanted to drop those little birds that were eating the fruit on the garden tree...

And that little girl really did...

And that little girl really did...

S-she's just so creepy, that kid!

Hey! Stop that!

Hey! Stop that!

Is that Lyon's fault, Kyle?

She just won't respond to anything we say! All she did was stare without moving and then suddenly...

She just won't respond to anything we say! All she did was stare without moving and then suddenly...

! Prince!

Prince, you mustn't! You should not come here...!

Prince, you mustn't! You should not come here...!

You can't do this, prince... I even begged you to stay in the room...

It's because I saw Lyon.

It's because I saw Lyon.

It's because I saw Lyon.

Father has told me, he said, "Lyon is your [little sister], too."

Ah! Prince...!

Ah! Prince...!

...Looks like all of them died...

Then..., let's bury them, Lyon.

Then..., let's bury them, Lyon.

You mustn't do this kind of thing, okay?

To kill any living beings senselessly is wrong. You must never do this again.

......Okay.

......Okay.

......Okay.

The prince is so reliable, isn't he...?

As one would expect from the son of Your Majesty... Then again, I guess we can say that he's my son too, can't we?

As one would expect from the son of Your Majesty... Then again, I guess we can say that he's my son too, can't we?

...Right.

Lyon-chan's condition..., I wonder when it will be cured... It's been six months since she came here... and she has yet to show any change...

Lyon-chan's condition..., I wonder when it will be cured... It's been six months since she came here... and she has yet to show any change...

She doesn't have her own will after all, so she relies on what other people told her to... rather, that's the only thing she can do.

I see..., it'd be simple in that case.

I see..., it'd be simple in that case.

Eh?

Freyjadour! Lyon! Have you finished burying them?

Father!? Um, I'm sure Lyon doesn't really understand what she just...

Father!? Um, I'm sure Lyon doesn't really understand what she just...

Yes, I know.

Yes, I know.

Say, Lyon.

Want to try to be Freyjadour's [escort]?

Eh!?

Eh!?

Does this mean Kyle-dono is fired?

Ahh, fired you are. If I were to leave Freyjadour in your hand as it is, he'd become a silly skirt chaser after all.

Ahh, fired you are. If I were to leave Freyjadour in your hand as it is, he'd become a silly skirt chaser after all.

N-no wayyy!

...Ah...

...Ah...

Of course, in exchange to that...

I want you to protect Lyon and Freyjadour.

I want you to protect Lyon and Freyjadour.

...Good.

Lyon, do you understand? You have to closely accompany Freyjadour.

Lyon, do you understand? You have to closely accompany Freyjadour.

You also have to listen to what he says.

Lyon, we'll be together from now on, okay?

Lyon, we'll be together from now on, okay?

You too, Kyle!

Yes!?

Yes!?

Yes!?

Of-

Of-

course!

Please be with us from now on!

Please be with us from now on!

I'll be with you guys even if you're not asking me to!
