鈴木実大尉の零戦11型。重慶爆撃に直掩戦闘機として参加。
それまで主力だった航続距離の短い九六戦に変わり、
重慶への往復護衛が可能となった。

Replacing the short-range Type 96 fighter <tn>(Mitsubishi A5M)</tn>, which was the main force until then, it became possible to provide round-trip escort to Chongqing.
