Around ten years ago, a certain biology institute in Italy suddenly disappeared.

Not in a sense that they shut down. It literally "disappeared".

The building was gone without any trace due to a large-scale explosion. And of course, all the research data disappeared along with it. Moreover, all of its researchers are missing.

We still have no clue as to why the laboratory just suddenly disappeared like that.

But recently, we've come to learn about something. And that is...

The institute seemed to be researching

A body clone of DIO, with Jonathan Joestar's DNA incorporated in it... "HARUNO".

And he continued to be researched as a top-secret project.

And so, I asked Gramps to use his psychic photograph ability, and that's the result.

I have no idea what those things are, but that photo was certainly "taken" from him.

Gramps said that he can't use psychic photography of someone who doesn't exist.

In other words, HARUNO is real and he's still alive to date.
