AA, Sensei!?This is, um, that...i-it's nothing...Marianne's case*fidget*Handover Failed. Loss by Default.不戦敗 is apparently a term used in sumo where a competitor loses by default because they didn't show up for the match. The chocolates themselves were made without issue, but on the verge of handing them out, she somehow gets it in her head that someone like her gifting chocolate would only be a nuisance. Subsequently, she bails.
Go for it, Marianne!
