Night of 24th December - Barracks, Meeting Room #1

.....and there. Everything good out there? This is the Hotpot Party organizing team. Is now a good time?

No problem. You can speak freely. What is it?

We're almost done with preparations. Will you be taking long, Commander?

We're done with the patrol, but… ...we encountered the enemy on our return route, and cleaning them out is getting messy. One squadron, led by a lost Destroyer Princess. Just our luck to be out here with no battleships on our side.

Tonight's patrol unit… ah, it's the First Mobile Fleet. D'you need reinforcements?

No problems as of now. If the situation changes, I'll contact you again. Over and out.

Roooger that!

...Now. That means the rear-area support team has completed its mission. Report remaining enemy strength.

Three surviving vessels, as of current information. One Destroyer Princess, escorted by two light cruisers.

Hurry up and clean 'em out, and make sure you take those cruisers to pieces.

If we take too long, we won't just miss the hot pot, we'll be left with nothing for dinner but the chow from the mess.

By the way, Kongou was on mess duty tonight…

...and she's been experimenting.
