The use of various persuasive techniques (suggestions) to affect changes to a subject’s body and mind. The subject is placed in a highly suggestible altered state of consciousness (like a nap) so that their subconscious mind may be influenced directly.
Hypnosis is
reliable only when performed on a completely willing subject in a relationship of mutual trust, with a detailed and specific agreement over what will be done!
