少し大人っぽい感じになってしまいましたネ。(^^;

This is Mahoro Ando, drawn fresh for the jacket of the new music CD by an acquaintance's music circle 'Atelier Saffron' -- the Mahoromatic original image album 'The Dreaming Maid.'
Since it's a fold-out (two-panel) jacket, I went with a standing pose.

At their request, I tried to go for a calm, soft-toned feel,
but rather than 'calm,' it ended up looking a bit more grown-up, didn't it? (^^;
And the background is recycled from something I drew before... (sob)

All things considered,
I never imagined I'd end up drawing Mahoro this much. (lol)

But still,

Mahoro is, for me, one of my all-time favorite characters,
so being able to draw her really makes me happy~. Yeah.

Speaking of Mahoro, come to think of it,
volume 1 of the anime DVD is already out, isn't it?
I keep meaning to go buy it,
but I always forget. (bitter laugh)
Guess I don't have enough love for her? Hahaha!
Speaking of DVDs, there was one released before the anime aired,
called 'Emergency Bulletin: Mahoromatic,'
and I bought that DVD, but
I got totally fooled by that one! (^^;;

I mean,

it was basically nothing but trailers,
plus just an interview with the voice actress...
Ugh! Give me my money back~~!!

Anyway, I really, really love the original 'Mahoromatic,'
so I'm curious what happens next. Yep.
