I don't remember planting something like this in my garden...

One, two-- HEAVE!!

Fuu-- Well what do we have here.

This is one mighty fine eggplant. I didn't know they could even grow this big...

Must be the power of summer. Things grow like in the blink of an eye. I guess tonight we'll be having Mabou Eggplant. Like Mabou Tofu. A fairly well-known Chinese dish from the Sichuan region, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't like Chinese! Make it in Japanese style! Miso would be good!

My my, what a self-centred eggplant.
