Here is Yukikaze looking at a photo from an album. It was taken when she took a business trip to Taiwan to observe the Hualien Railway Culture Park.
This is a museum built using the building and facilities of a closed rail station. The massive turntable used to change the facing of trains has been repurposed into a plaza, and preserved steam locomotives are on display, among many other remnants that signify how this place was once a train station, used for moving things and people.
Ticket Sales
The tilted hotel shown frequently in news reports of the earthquake in Hualien City is a mere 30 minutes' walk from the Railway Culture Park. I'd like to vacation there and go eating and shopping once they've recovered.

Oh, This! I Can Read It! - Daily Kirisawa

Yukikaze has memories from when she was Tan Yang, flagship of the Republic of China Navy, so she can read traditional characters (in my fleet).

An earthquake occurred off the coast of Hualien County at around 11:50 PM on February 6. Even now, buildings on the verge of collapse are being propped up as search and rescue efforts continue. I hope that more people won't be injured.

◎My new book from yesterday's Houraigekisen, Eki Meguri Donkou Hen, is now on sale at these two specialty bookstores. This one features various overseas railroads!
