Was it a Japanese rat snake?

I peeled off the clinging grass and moss and such.

There are stories of snake husks being turned into shintai in the countryside. Is that where it came from?

It sure wouldn't be strange for it to pass into fantasy.

A small shrine at the Village was looking for a shintai. Would it go back to normal if we enshrined it?
