The Crystal of the Elves is a 500 year old device created by the Elves to detect the presence of Demons...

Within it is contained a fossil of an ancient fairy, and the device can emit the magical power of the Elves.

It is due to this Crystal's existence that the Demon King was finally cornered with nowhere to hide.

Because it has a huge radius in which it detects the presence of Demons......

Most demons will be discovered long before they've gotten close.

And so, the Capital had always been a safe haven that demons were never allowed to set foot in.

This time, the Crystal suddenly lost its ability to provide the power of the Elves......

It is completely unnatural in every way imaginable, as this has never happened before.

You said that I should replace it, but I don't have that sort of ability.

Besides, I'm a half-elf, not a real elf.

Here, hold it......

Oooh!

Well look at that, it actually works......

Hahahahaha!
