ちなみに御柱祭では雨が降ると神様に歓迎されてるらしいです。
ハニワさんが来るときは途中大雨だったそうですが、ついたらこんな天気だったので
「どっちだかよくわからねー」と言ってました(笑)

Incidentally, it seems it's welcomed by the gods if it rains at the onbashira festival.

I hear that when Haniwa-san came, it was pouring while he was en route, but it cleared up when he arrived, so he said he wasn't sure which it was. :-)
