Update on the progress of my 3D artist team and Fisheye Placebo!

This is a first test of a fully 3D paintover in which both the background and the character is originally rendered in 3D and then painted over by me. (paint over on the top, raw render on the bottom) We’re still in the pre-production testing stages, fine tuning the work process, and building a more characters and backgrounds. I’m very excited about how much faster I can produce comics from now on! :D

Special thanks to Maika Sozo for making the 3D model of Frey, and Alex Godfrey for rigging, posing, and rendering the scene. I have more members of the team working on new backgrounds and other assests. I’m super excited to introduce them and their work in the future! Stay tuned for lots of updates as we get more streamlined in the workflow and ramp up production! :D
