Love love love Katamari. Playing it almost became like a meditation or stress release of some sorts at one point. The charming style and soundtrack are too perfect to pass up. If you have been living under a rock (the very rocks which Katamari is on.... *lame game soundtrack joke*) then please find it and give yourself an amazing weekend. You can pick up and put it down whenever.

Lots of guts went into this painting and it really makes me smile. I drew the thumbnail for it (which you can see by clicking HERE) roughly a year and a half ago then just had it rolling around the back of my mind for ages. I really wanted it to be a big colourful piece which would be displayed at my tables this con season. So I took that small pen thumbnail off my cork-board and started going.

There's some Marco Bucci/Nathen Fowkes lessons in the colour and paint strokes, Tekkonkinkreet/my trip to Korea in the city, and a little bit of that feeling of being so small in such a big world or universe.

If you want to hear the playlist I had going while playing this you can check it out on grooveshark HERE. It's also my playlist for when I want to reminisce about my time travelling through South Korea.
