Beware of Star Thieves

Merry Christmas in Jail

Late at night on December 24, a pair of thieves appeared. Dubbing themselves the Resistance, the two of them—Kijin Seija (species: amanojaku) and Sukuna Shinmyoumaru (species: inchling)— climbed the giant tree in the shopping district and stole the star from its top.

They were immediately arrested by Inubashiri Momiji (white wolf tengu, affiliated with youkai authorities), who was handling security for the vicinity. Their motive for stealing the star is unknown. People who know the duo unanimously stated, "It seems like something they'd do.

Honestly, though, it doesn't really matter." The mood seemed to be such that this was the point where they'd want to pursue whether the twosome were innocent, but this was a holy night, so a blind eye would be turned. We advise all our readers to be careful—not to avoid stealing stars off their own trees at home, but to avoid getting drunk and doing such stupid stuff. (Shameimaru Aya)
