Origin: Southeast Asia Full length: 20 to 30 cm Diet: Crickets, worms, etc. Average starting cost of keeping, including equipment: ~¥14,000

A lizard found widely throughout Southeast Asia.

It does not require much UV light, and is very hardy and easy to raise.

Unfortunately, there is a huge difference in body color between individuals, and dull individuals are extremely dull. However, it has a comb-like crest on its neck, protrusions above its eyes, and well-developed dewlap under its throat, making it quite cool.

There is nothing particularly difficult about raising them, but this genus and the Gonocephalus　are types that cling to trunks, so the recommended layout is a "thick trunk held upright."
