Origin: Central and South America Full length: 100 to 150 cm Diet: Vegetables, iguana food Average starting cost of keeping, including equipment: ~¥40,000

A large iguana that is over 1m long.

Because they are herbivorous and sold at low prices, they may seem like an introductory species, but they have destructive power that matches their large size, and individuals that are not used to humans can be difficult to care for on a daily basis.

It is not recommended to start raising them lightly, but if you can get them used to you from a young age, they are the best reptile pets.

As an aside, when I see a "fine floral pattern on a white background," I get really excited for some reason.
