Can't we do it normally with pocky?*KiritanpoI asked Sakuya to prepare a "kiritanpo pot with seasonal mushrooms, salted salmon, and topped with extra bean sprouts" for today's dinner. The reason why I chose kiritanpo is because today -- November the Eleventh (11/11) -- is the Day of Kiritanpo. But that's not the only anniversary for November the Eleventh. There are many others, such as:
*Salmon Day.
*Bean Sprout Day.
*Nagano Prefecture Mushroom Day.
*The Day of Noodles.
*Pocky and Pretz Day.
*Peanuts Day.
and more.
Other anniversaries that can be found are Pork-bun Day, Takuan Day, Cheese Day, and Thanks for the Meal (Itadakimasu) Day.According to the folks at The Japan Anniversary Association, it's a day which has the most registered anniversaries. I guess it's due to the figure of 1s being aligned: It makes it easier for people to associate it with something.I got an idea!
How about if we have "The Day of Scarlet" as a new anniversary for November the Eleventh?
I think the image of having four "number ones" in a row suits the noble queen of the night just right...hey, are you even listening--Showing off
