Cornered

Nagato's out of ideas to get out of this predicament

To speak of anything she can do now, all that remains is to pray she survives

But, there is still one more

From a distance stands one who yet has a chance to save Nagato

Shimakaze

As a follower of speed, only she recognizes the desperation Nagato is facing

Shimakaze recognized in that instant Nagato's situation, and raised her weapon

But someone even that Nagato could do nothing to hold off, someone even her own eyes could barely keep up with, can such an entity truly be caught?

Even if it did hit, against something that tanked a shot from Nagato's main cannon, will such a weapon really be useful?

The amount of time for Shimakaze to think was just short of a second

In this world, speed is truth Accelerated thought to find a solution

Culture is the crystallization of knowledge and wisdom

Wisdom is the power to combat an enemy stronger than one self

Culture is speed Culture is power

Knowledge is the accumulation of wisdom

And so Shimakaze found the right answer

Grasping that thread of hope, Shimakaze pulled the trigger without hesitation
