You guys can technically be classified as human when you're not linked to your riggings. Yes, I know, as shipgirls your basic vitals may be much higher than an ordinary human.

But, even though you were caught unawares, this is how you actually perform against a mere human. Unacceptable.

Your greatest weakness right now is that you are extraordinarily lacking in CQC ability. We specialize in irregular, commando-like operations here. Tactical situations often change from moment to moment. And naturally there are moments where we end up fighting in mêlée.

I'll drill this thoroughly into your heads for all of these three weeks. ...what, it's part of the rite of passage for everyone who's assigned here anyway.

...Shimakaze, Shiratsuyu, Ushio, Akatsuki, Aoba, Tenryuu and a bunch of others were all horribly traumatized by this though.
