Christmas cancellation notice?

No big deal; you can easily celebrate Christmas by yourself. It's fine as long as you are able to enjoy the pairing of me together with some matching cake. 「マリアージュ」 from French for "marriage", generally refers to wine and food pairings.

Don't you frequently hear about food pairings? It's about matching food and drinks that enhance one another.

For an espresso with a bitter, dark roast, chocolate cake would be a good fit.

If you're having a light roast with an acidic flavor, fruit cake would go well with it.
