They're after the warmth at lies within the heart.

We are called Lux Witch, and the monsters are called Cherubim.

The warmth that drives people forward. The warmth produced by the heart in order to move the body.

The monsters that plunder that warmth came to being at the same time as human beings.

And then the tactics to battle them and the organizations that do so were naturally developed.

However, these monsters plunder warmth. As soon as you feel their existence and gaze upon them...

they can already take your warmth away.

That's why, the majority of people aren't able to "see" these monsters.

As soon as you try to recognize them, your consciousness is taken away from you.

Thus only a special group of people can fight against them...

...a chosen group of girls in their teens...

...who are brave enough to stand up against these monsters and who possess a heart of endless warmth.
