母傘が残ると思ってたら階段登ってっちゃったので、仕方なくついてきたそうです(笑)
70越えの体にはあの階段はきついと思ったんですが、他にも結構なお歳の方も登ってたのですごいなーと思いました。

He thought Mama-gasa would stay behind, but she climbed up, so he had no choice but to come along, it seems. :-)

I figured those steps would be tough on a body in its 70's, but there were a number of other fairly elderly people who were also climbing them, which I thought was amazing.
