Carrier Division 1 & 2 during Attack on Pearl Harbour

Bottom of Pearl Harbour

But the depth of water in Pearl Harbour is just 12 metres. Because of that, the pilots of Carrier Division 1 & 2 have to dive in at speed of 300 kmh and released the torpedo at altitude of less than 20 metres. The hit ratio is 90%

The anti-surface-fleet dive bombers of Carrier Division 1 & 2 are grouped into 10 groups and have rigorous training

They managed to increase their hit rate from 10% against target cruising at 14 knots into (despite against static target) 80%!

You just need to make sure at least 70 out of 100 shots you released hits the target Until then, no meal for you

Tamonmaru said that, so can't help it

Widow Maker Tamonmaru

Commander of 2nd Carrier Division who sent his flying crew to rigorous training day and night
