Is there anything else to do beside staring at the papers all the time?

Well, in a word, there are other odd jobs.

To sum most of them up...

First is to manage the books of the whole temple.

From the offertories, donations.

To admission fees for performing ceremonies and income from product sales.

Then, you'd have to finalize the monthly income and expenditure, such as food budget, living cost... Blah blah blah~

You also have to tightly manage the schedule of the Chief Priest (Hijiri).

As well as manage the time and plan out the routes for her Sutra recitation visits.

Then set things up for her sermon.

When the season comes, you have to prepare the Sutra and incense for the funeral, and the likes.

Then you have to run around, greeting the parishioners, arrange payment for various kind of traders.

And to keep yourself busy between holding all kind of services, you have do kitchen duty, housework, chores.

And when I finally have the chance to take a breather and enjoy my private time, naturally some kind of ruckus will happen, so I have to hurry and clean up the mess. Like the time Unzan was messing around I had to discipline him thoroughly. Time to do my hobbies? Well, to be honest-
