Once Kororu was down to 20 percent of her provisions, she began to only eat one meal every three days,

although her situation felt so vague that she had little idea of how much time was passing in the first place.

Her equipment had already long

become thoroughly worn down, but even at this pace, the thread remained warm in her hands.

She's already run out of strength, but as long as she makes sure not to let her body drift away, she can reach an amazing speed with just a few pulls on the thread.

Her performances were the only regularity. She used most of her remaining strength on them. The return melody was her single support on her journey.

Her eyes filled with stars in many shapes and sizes along the way. Some of them twinkled brightly, and some of them burst apart in long, beautiful explosions, but she couldn't touch any of them. They were merely hollow lights that simply flew past her.

I've kept you waiting for a while...

While she plays, she sleeps, then opens her eyes as if in a waking dream.

Is it just her imagination, or has the response come early?
