The mochi people eat on New Years is a different shape in different regions.

I was born in Miyagi, so I grew up with square mochi♪

Generally, the east has square mochi, and the west has round mochi.

I'm from Hoenn, so my mochi was round♪

I was born in Sinnoh, we had square mochi.

Kanto, Sinnoh

Johto, Hoenn

So I wonder which I should use in the zouni♪

It's fine♪ You can just use yours♪

I decided to surprise you, so this year's mochi is...

Starmie-shape.

It's good but...

You made them well...
