Dozens of massive IPC6 Ion Cannons line the Ralette Fault, all pointed skywards - a dormant relic of war, when this military installment served as the most powerful defense against enemy starships entering through the only warpgate to this distant planet. While they have not fired in many years, they remain online. Their silent hum and the cool glow of their lights and operational systems make them beautiful but harrowing reminders of what was, and what could be.

Piper has taken a liking to the Ralette Cannon Line as one of her favorite places to see the sun rise and set. She enjoys company, but Marin is afraid of heights, so only Penny has accompanied her today. Piper's curious and careless nature lead her to many seemingly dangerous places as makeshift treehouses and secret getaways. Penny's adoration for Piper has allowed her to take these little journeys with her.
