The highest official of Mingting is called the Minister of Sentinel Affairs, while the heads of its subordinate institutions in the six cities are known as Intendants. Each Intendant is entrusted with duties particular to their city. Though the Ministry of Sentinel Affairs possesses an independent authority in matters concerning the Sentinels, its mandate remains limited to advising and exercising procuratorial oversight over the civic administrations of the cities and Mingting. Among the Intendants, the Mengzhou Intendant conveys the Sentinel's instructions and oversees affairs entrusted to their care, serving as the Sentinel's favored hand. Those who enter the Ministry of Sentinel Affairs take on the duty to uphold their charge and devote themselves to the development of Huanglong. They are bound to fulfill their duties, and must never undertake any deed that dishonors the Sentinels.
