If you... value...*slow exhale*MY KARUKAN—!!What's wrong, Sawa-nyan?Ah, Holo-nyan!Look! The girl in this picture is Sawa-nyan!*poof*Oh? Which one? This one! That one, huh?I remember her.She also attended the Autumn Festival with her band, and their songs were pretty good, too. I'm not sure where she learned to do this, butduring their performance, she scattered raw fish heads and entrails all about the guests' seating area. The strays were naturally overjoyed, but the domesticated cats darted about in a panic.Between the domesticated cats that were trying to escape and the stray cats that were busy fighting over the fish parts, it was pure chaos."Karukan"
A Kyuushuu specialty originating from Kagoshima, the karukan is a Japanese confection made from Japanese yams. It sports an odd, spongy texture and has a red bean filling wrapped in a bun-like shape. It's one of the author's most favorite foods.
