Hello! I’ve been a big fan of your artwork and especially love your unique art style. Your illustrations remind me a lot of a beautiful mix between the atmosphere and character designs of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, which is actually one of the main reasons I would love to commission you!

I would like to request an illustration of my OC, Todo (届寄), which I am planning to use as a Twitch Starting Soon / Starting Screen.

I’m also linking a few of your previous artworks that inspired me, as well as the opening animation of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, since I really love the visual language and effects used there. Please feel completely free to interpret these inspirations in your own style rather than trying to reproduce them directly.

I would love to commission a mix of your previous artworks:

【Intended Use / Format】

Since I would like to use the illustration as a Twitch Starting Screen, I would strongly prefer a 16:9 landscape composition.

Please also make sure that important parts of the character (especially her head, hair, hands, legs etc.) are not too close to the edges or cropped, as I would like to have some flexibility for the final placement on the Twitch screen.

The illustration itself is the main priority, so please feel free to compose the scene however you think works best for your artwork.

【Concept / Pose】

Todo is a modern magical girl heroine who can use her powers to travel through different worlds by jumping through time.

For this illustration, I would love to depict her in the middle of one of these time jumps — as if she is falling/floating through the air while being pulled through a distortion in space and time.

I especially love the idea of combining:

• Digital/glitching effects inspired by the Devil Survivor 2 opening
• Floating glass shards, inspired by some of your previous artwork
• A feeling of movement, distortion and falling through another dimension
• A cool, slightly mysterious and stylish atmosphere

I would love for the glitching and glass fragments to surround her in the air, almost as if the world around her is breaking apart while she is travelling through time.

The exact composition, camera angle, perspective and background are completely up to you. I would be very happy to see how you interpret the concept in your own style.

【Todo / Character】

For Todo herself, there are only a few character traits that I would like to remain consistent with her original design (please leave her glasses out):

• Long hairstyle
• Mint-green hair, gradually fading into white towards the tips
• Her original eye color
• The beauty mark underneath her left eye

Apart from those characteristics, please feel free to redesign or reinterpret her appearance to fit your style and the illustration.

I am attaching her character reference sheet mainly as a reference for these features.

【Outfit】

I would actually love for you to completely redesign her outfit rather than simply reproducing her current clothing.

I’m attaching an additional outfit reference to give you an idea of the kind of direction I like (long pants, and a more revealing top).

The outfit can be more fashionable, edgy and slightly more revealing if you think that fits the composition and your style. Choice of colors for the outfit are freely up to you as the artist. I especially like outfits that have interesting silhouettes and details.

I would also really appreciate small accessories and details that can create visual interest, such as:

• Pendants / amulets
• Chains attached to the pants or clothing
• Small charms
• Jewelry
• Straps or dangling elements
• Other small accessories that could move independently

Since I may have the illustration animated later, details like chains, pendants, hair strands, clothing accessories and floating elements would be especially nice, as they could potentially create subtle movement during the animation.

【Expression / Mood】

For Todo's expression, I would love something cool, relaxed and confident, with a slightly sexy feeling.

She doesn't necessarily need to look serious or angry — more like she is completely composed and comfortable even while falling through this strange distorted space.

A confident gaze and a slightly sexy/cool expression would be wonderful.

【Background】

Please feel completely free with the background!

I don't have a strict environment in mind, and I would actually prefer to leave the background largely up to your artistic interpretation.

The only things I would love to see are the feeling of a distorted/time-traveling space, glitch effects and glass shards or fragments surrounding Todo.

If you have ideas for a background that would work particularly well with the composition or with potential animation later, please feel free to use them.

【Animation / PSD】

I would also like to ask for permission to have the finished illustration later animated/edited by another animator for use as my Twitch Starting Screen.

The artwork itself would remain credited to you, of course, and I would not claim the illustration as my own.

Because I am specifically planning for a later animation, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a suitable layered PSD file.

Ideally, I would like the character to be separated from the background, with major background elements separated where reasonably possible. For example, floating glass shards, larger foreground/background elements, chains or other elements that could benefit from independent movement.

The PSD does not need to have every tiny detail separated into its own layer — I mainly want enough separation to allow an animator to create movement and subtle effects later.

The references are mainly intended to communicate the mood, composition and visual direction I like. I would absolutely love for the final artwork to remain your own interpretation and artistic style.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my request! I would be incredibly happy to see Todo interpreted in your style, especially because I feel that your artwork would fit her concept and the time-travel/modern magical-girl theme extremely well. ♡
