I think my first experience with the series was unique. I had just gotten 999, and, come the weekend, I started it up. I did not sleep that night. I played tirelessly until that sunday, about 9pm, when I had finaly finished the true ending, while crying he tears of someone who had just read one of the most compelling stories of their life.

I don’t believe I’ll ever see another game series do what Zero Escape has done. The characters, the setting, they’re all organized and carefully placed to suck you in, abduct you using a white gas, put you somewhere strange and lock you in with a bracelet you can’t take off. Nothing compared to my first times playing these games, very few twists have caught me as off guard as the ones in these series, and very few other works of fiction have made me cry actual tears. Nothing can describe what I feel for this series, and this I knew from the moment I caught myself chuckling amidst tears when a sudoku puzzle appeared on-screen that night all those years ago.

So Thank You. To everyone that has worked on these titles, thank you so much.
