▲Rejected designs for the bus cases I was thinking of various designs because I wanted a cute design that I could carry around with me on a daily basis. However, the problem was that the illustration would be cut off at the slot where the card is inserted, so after much deliberation, I decided to make the most of it and arrived at the current design. I really like it, as it gives off a travel vibe.

▼Clear File Rough Draft I was asked three times why I didn't use this for the cover of the compilation volume. I drew it with the image of the compilation volume in mind, so it couldn't be helped. When it was finished, Renko and Merry were somehow linking arms. Yukari is associated with the night, so the moon is out in all of Gensokyo as seen through Yukari. By the way, since it's about setting off on a journey, I included the dawn. It's like night turning into morning. I actually wanted to include the dawn sky in a double-page spread or something, but I couldn't, so I'll just tell you this here secretly. Also, I like Yukari's story in CoLA, so I drew a circle with a rainbow. Secretly. For my own satisfaction.
