Literature Club: The Finale
"Welcome to the Literature Club! I'm so happy to- Ah, maybe those are the lines I should be saying in the script, huh?"
"..."
"Come on, don't look at me with that face! Smile, I'd be so happy to see that smile... especially in this moment."
She raised her hand to my cheek, gently caressing it before smiling. Even though her eyes held an indescribable sadness.
"It's all... my fault. And this ending is the punishment for the mistakes I made to yo- No, you guys should be the ones..."
"I..."
"Even so, there's only one thing I feel completely at peace with. It's being able to talk, interact, or... even see the person I love smiling, having fun, and feeling happy in the club that I painstakingly built..."
"You... I don't want this to happen... It's not fair at all... Everyone has their own "route"! Only you don't! I c-"
"To be honest, I'm a little sad that I didn't really get my own "route". But come on, didn't I get something else?"

"I got to go on a date with the person I love, got to kiss those warm lips. Something no one else could do, isn't that something to be proud of? No matter what happens, no matter what anyone says, to me, this is a happy ending... Please don't blame yourself, my protagonist..."
And then, she disappeared. But strangely, I could still hear her voice echoing in my head before disappearing completely.
"Thank you for everything, my hero..."
