Afterword

"Walk-In" was completed on 5/17/2025. Since I was rushing for Comicup and also went to Ambience Synesthesia in the middle (hey), I only had about 17 days to actually draw it. Thankfully I was able to finish it with my friends' help. Thank you so, so much...! Because I'm not familiar with the comic workflow, a lot of problems popped up in the middle, so I reorganized it somewhat for the digital version. I think that because of my lack of experience and time, a lot of places aren't well done, leaving me with lots of little regrets. But I still received the support and acknowledgement of lots of fellow fans, so I'm really happy. Thank you all.

This is a story where Texas wasn't lucky enough to meet Emperor, and encounters Lapp, who is disappointed in her and tries to get vengeance. The Chinese title is "Door Knocker", and the English title is "Walk-In", which describes walk-in customers who didn't make a reservation ahead of time in the hotel industry, just like Lapp here. Thank you to Xiao Ye for helping me come up with the name. It's genius.

Stories made by artists who can draw whatever they want are really the best! Thanks to everyone for reading this wholesome New Years' party mutually assured destruction comic to the end!
